MCBrawl was a Minecraft server network I operated and scaled from 2013 to 2019 — growing from operations lead to primary owner, including the acquisition of the MCPVP player base.

The platform.

MCBrawl started as one of the largest Minecraft competitive networks in 2013. I joined the operations team early and grew into a leadership role — managing infrastructure, game systems, community moderation, and the platform's commercial operations. By 2015, I was the primary owner.

In 2014, we acquired the player base from MCPVP — one of the original Minecraft PvP networks — absorbing their community and game modes into our platform. This was a turning point that scaled our user base significantly and required rebuilding systems to handle the load.

At its peak, the network ran 9 distinct game modes across dozens of server instances, supported by a XenForo forum with 47,000+ members generating nearly 1 million posts. The full MySQL database — players, matches, forums, transactions, moderation logs — is still intact and queryable today.
